How to Receive Useful Feedback After Job Interview?

During interview, pay attention to body language, mimics, reactions on answers and the time that the recruitment consultant spent with you.

At the end of the interview, ask the recruitment consultant directly what he/she thinks about you as a potential employee. It is a good sign if the HR Manager is interested in your motivation, asking about potential dates to start a job, offers to arrange a second interview with a hiring manager.

Value yourself after the job interview. Recall the entire interview from the beginning to the end and answer the following questions:
  • Did you feel confident or were nervous?
  • What questions were easy to answer and which of them you had difficulties?
  • Were you able to get the employer’s interest?
  • What could be improved?
This self-analysis right after the interview could help in future.

If the employer has not contacted you within 2-3 days, initiate your contact on your own. Write a letter or text in any messenger app. Restate your interest in the company and the vacancy, and request feedback in a polite way.
