
Logistics Manager
Обязанности:
- Manage the shipments of your customers on a day to day basis
- Develop a knowledge and understanding of customers' products and (intermodal) transport requirements
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
- Confirm bookings to customers
- Accurately record all shipping parameters into the Company’s electronic system
- Plan shipments in accordance with instructions received from the sales department
- Liaise with subcontracted companies
- Respond to queries from subcontractors and customers
- Check shipping documents, issue transport documents, control BL and insurance issues
- Provide regular status reports of shipments in progress to customers as needed or required
- Track shipments until delivery
- Exercise proper file management
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
- Register and handle customer complaints
Follow up on payments received from customers
Требования к опыту:
- A university or college degree
- Intermediate or fluent English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other commonly used office packages
- Previous experience / knowledge of national and international import/export legislation ( is an advantage )
- A strong ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing customer requests and requirements
- Attention to detail
