Material Manager

Responsibilities
Management & leadership of the Materials Management Team
Minimise plant downtime by having the right sparing/stock strategy
Optimise the Inventory without impacting service levels as per business strategy
Strategize plant support and provisioning
Improve inventory control processes
Coordination of materials management processes in line with procurement policies & processes
Development of spare part estimates relating to capital projects
Recommend plant reliability requirements, plant geography, current company stockholdings, pricing and usage rates (Echelon planning)
Accountable for KPI’s - plant support and provisioning groups
Achieve new Plants store set up by date agreed

Requirements
Educated to diploma/degree level or equivalent experience, preferably in a technical or engineering subject
Fluent in English
Second, European language would be advantageous
